You read the books, you've seen the movies...what could possibly be missing from your Harry Potter experience? Until now Harry Potter had not yet entered the digital realm.

They're here! Finally the wildly popular Harry Potter series is available in eBook and eAudiobook format. Starting March 29th they will be available for download from the Herrick District Library through our OverDrive collection. From Page to Screen -- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

The much awaited, much anticipated... Here's the trailer for the last official Harry Potter!

But don't worry--rumors are already circulating about a documentary about the making of the HP movies. And Daniel Radcliffe is already hard at work on other projects, including a film release of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black (it's a teaser of a trailer, but in case you need to know more, you can reserve the book here).

Finite Incantatem

The journey that began in June of 1997 with the British release of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (retitled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in the US) draws to its conclusion this July with the final movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Will the movie live up the magic of a series that had elementary students (and many adults too!) consuming 800+ page books in overnight reading marathons? We will find out July 15, 2011.
